The Center for Digital Studies at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg presents "Immersive Storytelling in Museums: From Concept to Experience." On Wednesday, Nov. 12, representatives from the Westmoreland Museum of American Art and Italian-based OLO Creative Farm will share how immersive experiences are transforming visitor engagement in museums across the US and Europe. The program begins at noon in Village Hall 118.
“Drawing on recent and ongoing collaborations—including two immersive projects for The Westmoreland Museum—this talk will examine creative processes, technological approaches— including the use of AI—and visitor responses,” said Sean DiLeonardi, assistant professor of English and digital studies who is director of the Center for Digital Studies. “The speakers will discuss how narrative, design, and emotion converge to create multisensory environments that invite participation and deepen connection with art.”
