Management Information Systems (MIS) is the application of information technology to organizational and
managerial needs. The MIS program provides training in both business and information systems to
prepare students to use their knowledge of systems and technology to solve business problems.

Additional Requirements 1 course – 3 credits
After they have earned 90 credits, MIS majors take INFSCI 1038- Management of Information
Systems to fulfill the capstone course requirement.
Students must earn an average QPA of at least 2.0 in all Management, Accounting Information
Science courses used to fulfill the requirements for the Management major.
