Chambers Hall Gymnasium: Chambers Hall Gymnasium on the campus of the
University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg is home to the Bobcat’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams, as well as the Women’s Volleyball Team. It also houses the Cheer and Dance Program at UPG. Chambers Hall was completed in 1989 as the main student center on campus. It was named in 1997 after UPG’s second President, George F. Chambers. This building is home to all athletic department offices as well as the teams mentioned above. It is also used to hold such events as convocation and graduation.
The playing court was completely redone in the summer of 2004, to feature a large Bobcat in center court. The gymnasium seats around 400 people with standing room above on the second floor above the court. The gymnasium also features a track that runs on the second floor used by the Cross Country Program as well as many other students.
Chambers Hall is located in the center of campus between Smith Hall and the Millstein Library. It is the central local for student events, and is also home to the UPG Dining Center.
Ridilla Fields: The Ridilla Fields include two full-size soccer fields as well as a softball field. Both the Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams and the Softball Team call Ridilla Field their home.
Located at the far end of campus behind the Millstein Library, the Ridilla Fields are beautiful and spacious places to watch the Bobcat teams play. The field closest to the Millstein Library is the main field, which is used for all home soccer matches. Another full-length field runs directly beside the main field, and is used for team practices as well as intramural sports. Directly beside the second field is an enclosed Softball field that is used by the UPG Softball Team.
