| Alumni Needed for Speed Interviewing | |
| On Wednesday, January 23, 2008 PGAA and the Office of Career Services will host a Speed Interviewing Event in Chambers Hall. This event is designed to help students improve their interviewing skills by participating in a fast paced, high pressure interview session. The Alumni Association is looking for volunteers to serve as a guest interviewers for the evening. You will have approximately 2 minutes to “interview” students before they move on to the next volunteer. Each volunteer will only be responsible for 1 question. You will ask every student you meet the same questions and provide them with feedback. This type of event is not usually available at the undergraduate level, so we are excited about being able to offer this to Pitt-Greensburg students. But we can’t do it without your help! This is a great way for Alumni to offer valuable insight based on real life experiences. Think back to your first interview...wouldn’t it have been nice if someone shared theses tips with you, rather than having to find everything out the hard way?! If you would like to volunteer or know someone else who would, please contact Alumni Affairs. We will provide you with all the necessary information, the questions, dinner and even dessert! So what are you waiting for, call now ( & bring a friend, spouse, or co-worker along too)! |

| Show Your Support for Pitt-Greensburg | |
As a Pitt-Greensburg Alumni you received a letter from the PGAA President Will Hoffman, asking for your support. This is part of our Annual Fund Campaign. This campaign is designed to help fund programs and facilities at the Pitt-Greensburg campus. In order for our campus to grow and attract such exceptional students, we need to continue to offer new and exciting opportunities. If you have already made a donation, we wanted to say THANK YOU!! The support of the Alumni is so important to the growth and success of Pitt-Greensburg. The next mailing will be sent out in February and will focus on the new programs that will be available for students. Please take a moment to read the letter when it arrives and remember how much you enjoyed your time as a student at Pitt-Greensburg. Now you can give back and help more students achieve their dream of a college education. Remember, you can also designate how your donation is applied, so if you would like it to specifically support the Pitt-Greensburg Alumni Association please check off that box on your reply card. |
