Quest 2009: summer day-camps for high school students that will take place in
June and July at Pitt-Greensburg. Explore career options, learn about your
interests and abilities, find out about a variety of related college majors.

Exploration 101
This one-day camp is designed for the undecided student. Each day will include
activities, interest inventories, and panels of professionals speaking about a
wide range of careers.

Pathways To Professions
These one-day themed camps are designed for the student with an interest in a
particular career area. Each day will provide an overview of options within one
of five career fields.

THE BASICS
Dates: June-July 2009
Participants: High school students entering grades 9-11 in fall of 2009
Cost: $25/day. Scholarships are available.
Meals: Lunch and snacks provided.
Housing and Transportation: Not provided.
REGISTRATION
Registration is required and space is limited. Due to increased sponsorship the
deadline to register has been extended to Monday, June 22, at 5:00 p.m for
Exploration 101 and Friday, July 17th at 5:00 p.m for Pathways to Professions.
Late registrations will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Register by calling
724-838-8040 or online HERE.
Participants will receive an email confirmation that their registration has
been received. Due to the nature of the camp activities, enrollment is limited.
Registration is on a first-come first-served basis. Waitlisted participants
will be contacted individually.
Confirmation
Scholarships will be awarded starting on June 16th and confirmation packets
(including an invoice if applicable) will be mailed.
Payment Methods
Registration is not complete until payment is received or a scholarship has
been awarded. Cash or checks will be accepted. Please make checks payable to:
University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Scholarships are available. To apply, students are required to submit a 100-200
word statement about what they hope to gain by attending "Quest 2009: Finding
Your Future". The statement can be uploaded and included with the online
registration or mailed directly to Career Services.
Students applying to attend more than one camp should indicate the camps within
one essay and what they hope to gain by taking part in Quest 2009.
POLICIES
Cancellation
The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg reserves the right to cancel a camp
due to insufficient enrollment. In this case a full refund will be issued. Upon
request, a 90% refund will be issued up to two business days prior to the start
of the camp.
Program Changes
The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg reserves the right to make changes
to the daily agenda, should they be necessary for scheduling purposes.
Disability Accommodations
Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate physically and mentally
handicapped individuals. Please call the Office of Career Services to request
accommodations.
