Relocation Programs
In addition to its own baccalaureate programs, UPG offers opportunities for
students to complete one or two years of work on degrees in selected programs
in the University of Pittsburgh's Schools of Engineering, Health and
Rehabilitation Science, Pharmacy and Social Work. For details on requirements
and procedures, consult the appropriate section later in the Bulletin.

Options for transfer to the School of Arts and Sciences on the Pittsburgh
Campus and other regional campuses are also available.
Arts and Sciences (Pittsburgh Campus)
For students admitted for Fall 2004 and earlier, the following
rules govern relocation to the School of Arts and Sciences (Pittsburgh Campus):
(1) students must have completed 48 credits before applying,
(2) students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, and
(3) students must also have completed MATH 0031 (Algebra) and ENGCMP 0020
(College Composition 2). Only students who enroll in the School Arts and
Sciences by Fall 2006 will be considered under the current relocation
guidelines. Any student whose relocation is delayed past Fall 2006 must follow
the new relocation standards described below.
For students admitted for Spring 2005 and later, new standards
for relocation to the School of Arts and Sciences (Pittsburgh Campus) will be
enforced. The new Arts and Sciences relocation requirements include:
(1) completion of 60 total credits (at least 45 of the 60 credits must be
earned at UPG) with a minimum GPA of 3.0,
(2) completion of the appropriate general education requirements for Arts and
Sciences,
(3) declaration of a major at the time of relocation, and
(4) completion of the prerequisites for the declared major.
Business Administration (Pittsburgh Campus)
Students, who begin their studies at UPG in Fall 2005 and earlier , will be
eligible to relocate to the College of Business Administration (Pittsburgh
Campus) if they have earned a 2.75 cumulative average and have completed
required courses in calculus, statistics, economics and psychology. Only
students who enroll in the College of Business Administration by Fall 2006 will
be considered under the current relocation guidelines. Any student whose
relocation is delayed past Fall 2006 must follow the new relocation standards
described below.
Starting with students who are admitted for Spring 2006 and later , the
following requirements for relocating to the College of Business Administration
(Pittsburgh Campus) will be enforced:
(1) completion of at least 30 credits at UPG with a minimum GPA of 3.0,
(2) completion of required courses in calculus, statistics, economics and
psychology, and
(3) completion of the general education courses appropriate for the College of
Business Administration.
University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown
University of Pittsburgh at Bradford
Students may also relocate to another regional campus. A minimum QPA of 2.00 is
required for relocation. The specific courses that students should take at UPG
will depend on the intended major.
