Welcome to the Financial Aid Office
The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Office of Financial Aid is here to
assist students and families with the process of applying for and receiving
financial aid.
A college education is one of the most significant investments you will make.
While this investment is daunting, the Pitt-Greensburg Office of Financial Aid
will guide you through the steps necessary to finance your education. We all
know it will involve sacrifice, but so does everything that is worth doing. The
value of a Pitt-Greensburg Education is worth the effort.
Most financial aid at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg is based on
need. Awards can be "packages" or combinations of scholarships, grants, loans,
and part-time employment. The amount and type of aid is dependent upon the
student's computed need and academic performance. In order to be eligible for
financial aid, a student must demonstrate financial need according to the
following formula: student cost of attendance (COA) minus expected family
contribution equals financial need. The COA is determined by the Financial Aid
Office and includes tuition, fees, books and supplies, room and board,
transportation, and personal expenses (such as laundry and entertainment).
