When did you start working at Pitt-Greensburg?
1998 as a United States History instructor, appointed Director of Academic
Advising in July 2008.

Is there any other information you would like to share?
Before coming to work at Pitt-Greensburg, I worked as an historian for the
National Park Service documenting historic steel mills and related industries
in southwestern Pennsylvania from 1989-1994 and worked as an academic advisor
at the University of Pittsburgh College of Arts and Sciences from 1984-1989.

Is there any other information you would like to share?
I worked as the Area Coordinator in Residence Life at Seton Hill University for
one year before returning to the Pitt System. Some of my favorite hobbies are
singing playing volleyball, knitting, baking, traveling, and of course watching
the Steelers! I am also the advisor of the Ice Hockey Club.

I worked as a Guidance Counselor at South Allegheny Middle School and Kiski
Area Intermediate School before coming to Pitt-Greensburg. I was also a
substitute teacher in several districts. Some of my hobbies are hanging out
with my friends and watching the Steelers.

I teach Philosophy. My hobbies include running, art, and music. My work

a Professional English Tutor at Penn State Greater Allegheny, and an adjunct
instructor at Mount Aloysius College.

I began my career at Pitt in 1990 as a part-time admissions counselor in the
college of general studies. In 1997 I began working full-time in administrative
capacity. It was not until January 2000 that I found my true passion of acadmic
advising. I am a cat lover and the owner of a Jack Russell Terrier. Finally, I
am the proud parent of three sons all of whom are Pitt alumni.

Alicia is proud to be a part of the Pitt-Greensburg community. Before coming to
Pitt-Greensburg she worked in the areas of admissions, disablitiy support
services, and orientation. She is eager to help students progress through their
acadmic careers here at Pitt-Greensburg. Alicia enjoys cooking, shopping, and
spending time with family and friends. She resides locally in Greensburg with
her cat, Baker.

I have my own library of Cookbooks(Approximately 1,000) volumes. I am a member
of the Jane Austin Society - National and Regional. I have a four month old
tabby, named My. Darcy. I have a 29 year old son, Zachary. He is a 2003
Pitt-Greensburg graduate, poltical Science, served in the navy for 5 years, and
lives in Williamsburg, Virgina. I previously worked for Allegheny Power for
nearly 20 years, assistant editor of the Utility's Magazine, and Editor of the
Retiree Publication.
