Jodi Kraisinger Director Institutional Advancement
Jodi joined the University in August of 2004.

As the director of institutional advancement, the scope of her oversight at UPG includes the capital campaign, annual, major and planned giving, foundation and corporation support, constituent development, prospect research, advancement services, development communication, donor relations, and alumni relations. She works closely with the development and alumni coordinators. Additionally, she serves as a member of the President's Cabinet.

Ms. Kraisinger has spent more than 14 years in the not-for-profit sector developing strong skills in all philanthropic initiatives, donor communication, special event planning, and marketing. Before joining the University, she served as the director of development for the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill. She also has worked for Edenfield Stages, the American Diabetes Association and the American Cancer Society.

Ms. Kraisinger earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania with an additional concentration on public relations and advertising.

Wendy Mackall Director, Media Relations & Community Affairs
Wendy joined the University in August 2004.

As the director of media relations and community affairs, she is responsible for external and internal campus written communications, Web site content, and various marketing initiatives.

Before joining the University Relations and Institutional Advancement department, Ms. Mackall spent more than 10 years as an editor at two daily newspapers. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in English writing from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.

Emily Hayburn Coordinator of Development
Emily joined the University in April of 2006.

She brings five years of experience working in not-for-profit sector and development to UPG. As the Coordinator of Development, Ms. Hayburn manages a portfolio of major gift donors and their philanthropic relationship with the University, and directs the annual internal fundraising campaign. Additionally, Ms. Hayburn coordinates the securing of corporate and individual sponsorships for major fundraising events on campus.

Prior to joining the University, Ms. Hayburn served as Manager of the Family Resource Program and Manager of Special Projects at The Arc of Westmoreland in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. While at The Arc, she was responsible for securing numerous contributions and sponsorships for many fundraising events, in addition to being the liaison between the development office and many foundations.

Ms. Hayburn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University

Nancy Murphy Coordinator of Alumni Affairs
Nancy joined the University in September of 2007.

Nancy Davis Murphy was recently hired as Coordinator of Alumni Affairs for Pitt Greensburg and is looking forward to working with the association to increase membership involvement both on campus and within the community. She has extensive experience in fund raising, marketing, public relations & special events. Most recently, Nancy worked as a Sales and Marketing Consultant. She was also the Administrator for the Westmoreland Professional Builders Association in Greensburg.

She has worked for the Westin Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida and the Westin William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh. She is a graduate of Robert Morris University and an alum of Pitt-Greensburg. Nancy lives in Greensburg with her husband and their 3 children.

Karen Gavula Secretary
Karen Gavula provides administrative support for University Relations & Institutional Advancement. Her creativity, organizational skills and graphic skills make Karen a good fit for this diverse department. Her expertise also includes database management, database conversion projects, gift processing and data reporting. She has developed new campaign reporting and is responsible for entering data updates into the University's fundraising system.

Before joining the URIA department, Karen was a library specialist in the UPG Millstein Library. She has held the office of Treasurer for the UPG Staff Association and continues to be active in the organization. She has been a staff member at the University since 1995.
