On Friday, December 5 @ 7:30 p.m. the Alumni Association is hosting a holiday reception at Mountain View Inn on Route 30 in Greensburg. Special guest Vance Booher, a certified wine expert and owner of Mountain View Inn, will join us for an evening of wine and hors d’oeuvres. The cost is $15/per person or $25/ per couple. available in blue and gold. Men’s shirts have the Adidas logo on the sleeve and
are available in sizes S-3X. The women’s shirts have the logo on the front, are

The
Pitt-Greensburg Alumni Association (PGAA) and the Office of Career Services,
hosted the 2nd Annual Speed Interviewing event on
Wednesday, November 12. Special guest Jennifer Miele of WTAE Channel 4 Action News was the
emcee. The evening began with a
thank-you dinner for all of the
guest interviewers. Then everyone moved into the dining hall and began
rotating through the 45 interview stations. Students spent approximately 5 minutes with each Guest Interviewer before
moving on to the next station. They received valuable feedback on
content, body language, and overall presentation.
What makes this event so unique is that the students are able to draw on the
knowledge of people who have “been there done that”—which is something
that can’t be taught in the classroom. It also allows guest interviewers a
chance to
network with fellow alumni and other members of the community—while helping
“future alumni” at the same time. Talk about a win-win for everyone!
